Marine Hull & Machinery Takaful provides cover against physical loss or damage to the Ship’s Hull & Machinery and other equipment of the ship/vessel including Total Loss of the vessel, resulting from perils such as Fire, Explosion, Heavy weather, Stranding, Sinking, Collision, etc. The scope, basis, and extensions of cover provided are adapted to suit the requirements of our clients.
The cover is available to all types of commercial Ocean-Going Vessels, including:
- Blue Water Vessels (Bulk carriers, Crude / Product / Chemical Tankers, and Containerships)
- Green Water Vessels (Offshore supply/support vessels and the like)
- Brown Water Vessels (Tugs, Barges, Dredgers, and short sea coastal vessels)
